When I was expecting my second child I wondered, why isn't there a magazine for the second time around? I mean frankly- I already knew that strange things would happen to my body, my husband already knew not to expect anything from the expectant mom, (so there was no need for '10 ways to make pregnancy sexy' articles), and I knew what to expect in the delivery room.

What I needed and wanted to know was- how do you manage two kids? Where will the guests sleep when you have given up the only bedroom you had left to the new baby?
Will her big sister try to flush her down the toilet? I needed to be reassured that I was not the only expectant mom who didn't feel like having sex because I was tired from chasing the toddler and lugging around the in-utero alien. I also wanted proof in print to show my dear husband! This my mama friends is the important stuff. Mixed in with some modern finds for us hip parents who are over teddy bears, and are into cool bunk beds and monstrous double strollers.

In this premiere issue we tackle the sudden realization that we only have two hands. What are you to do when your hands are full with baby and your toddler needs a drink? Or worse- to be wiped. This has happened to me.
When you head out on the town do your really need that double stroller? What is it like to experience secondary infertility? You mean just because you got pregnant the first time doesn't mean you can do it again?
